What are University Affiliated Exams?

University Affiliated Exams are special exams for Diploma Nurses in Ghana. The examination are organized and supervised by the university (KNUST, UCC, UG, UDS) for nursing training colleges affiliated with them.

These exams assess the academic and clinical competencies of diploma nursing students and form part of their graduation requirements.

The Benefit of University Affiliated Exams

1. Standardized Curriculum and Assessment:  These exams ensure that all affiliated nursing colleges follow a uniform curriculum and maintain the same academic standards across the country. They ensure students meet the academic criteria for the award of a diploma.

2. Academic Recognition and Credibility:  Diplomas awarded through university affiliation are more widely recognized and respected, both locally and internationally, enhancing the nurse’s academic credibility.
